Virtual Design Civil 3D & 3D Studio Max Specialist

Learn more about the general tasks related to this opportunity below, as well as required skills.The Civil 3D & 3D Studio Max Specialist will support site civil and land development business units, including troubleshooting issues related to the C3D suite of products, document production, and development of content while maintaining company standards related to site coordination with internal and external project teams.Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and answer questions from production staff related to site civil projects.Have strong technical knowledge of pressure pipe networks.Knowledge of gravity networks and edit network parts list.Fundamental understanding of trench drains.Assist Civil groups with plans and profiles for corridors/roads with medians.Significant knowledge of storm drain structures and pipe label styles.Train Civil 3D users on how to set up projects using Dewberry’s CAD standards and client standards.Assist in coordination and quality of Civil production graphics.Help train users on pressure networks, corridor modeling, terrain modeling, and site and survey workflows.Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds and resources.Assist and review efforts of the Discipline Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Application Experts.Develop and execute in-house training schedule and curriculum.Maintain familiarity with current accepted standards and methods for construction in the engineering industry.3D Studio skill set includes creating animated renderings and 2D & 3D detailed photorealistic designs.Design visualization projects using 3DS Max.Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience directly with the MEP/S disciplines and working in a Civil 3D platform for an A/E/C firm.High proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office applications - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Proficiency and a minimum of 5 years' experience in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and 3D Studio Max.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet simultaneous deadlines.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.Willingness to learn the company's business and industry.Teamwork with the Virtual Design Group and production teams.Good verbal, written, and organizational skills.Commitment to our corporate vision and culture.Aptitude for taking and following directions.Ability to travel to multiple locations in performance of responsibilities.The projected salary range for this position is $84,700-$108,900 annually, depending on factors such as skills, experience, location, and market conditions.Don't meet every single requirement?
