Our vision is to be a leading consultancy globally, delivering integrated and sustainable solutions that shape today and tomorrow.Joining RambollAs our new Mechanical and HVAC designer, you will be working across a wide range of mechanical design knowledge areas and have a desired focus area in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and plumbing related work. The candidate will work with engineers to develop HVAC and plumbing designs using Revit.Your starting point for constant growthFrom the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is:Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or greater.Experience with HVAC and Industrial duct layout.Knowledge of SMACNA duct construction standards.Knowledge of the International Plumbing code and its requirements for plumbing design.Ability to foster a creative engineering environment.Strong communication skills, (both in written and verbal).Ability to work across a wide range of areas within the mechanical engineering discipline.Strong computer skills in the Microsoft Office suite of programs.Experience with AutoCAD and Revit design software strongly preferred.5+ years of experience preferred.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesPerforming design work in various areas of the mechanical discipline. The majority of the work will be related to heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) and plumbing; however the candidate should also expect work in industrial piping, central utility plants, compressed air systems, chilled water systems, steam systems, and fire protection.Coordinating with other engineering disciplines to produce final construction drawings and details.Developing conceptual designs and cost estimates for early stages of the project life cycle.Designing plumbing and building utility piping systems.Visiting job sites as required to support the design effort. A mix of day trips and overnight domestic trips should be expected.Adhering to the policies and standards set forth in the Ramboll’s Project Execution Manual.Promoting and maintaining a safe working environment for all employees by adhering to Ramboll’s Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures.How to applyApply online.
