Insight Global is looking for a CAD Designer for a consulting firm located near Columbus, OH. This firm specializes in supporting clients looking to construct natural gas pipelines. Duties Include:Work in multi-discipline, collaborative team environmentsWork alongside engineers, surveyors, environmental scientists, GIS professionals, operations supervisors, technicians, etc.Utilize the latest 3D modeling CADD software to develop designs, drawings, and details for the natural gas and adjacent industriesHelp build and strengthen existing CADD templates and processes, and explore new design technologiesExpand your skillset by participating in tasks outside of drafting as neededSee many projects through from start to finish - be involved in the initial project conception all the way through to construction and commissioningLearn an entire industry, its codes and compliance, best practices, and construction methodsNetwork and collaborate with hundreds of individuals across the natural gas industry from operators to vendors to contractorsDesired Traits:1+ years' experience in a civil engineering drafter/designer roleProficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3DAbility to handle multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines simultaneouslyBonuses/Incentives:Full Benefits - Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTOHigher Education IncentivesESOP Profit SharingRelocation PackageCompensation:$50,000 to $70,000 per year annual salary.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
