To be considered for an interview, please make sure your application is full in line with the job specs as found below.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:The Director of Marketing and Community Engagement oversees NWB’s external communications, marketing strategies, and community engagement initiatives. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director plays a key role in promoting NWB programs and enhancing community visibility. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Management and Oversight:Lead the CBE department, managing staff, interns, and developing departmental goals aligned with organizational objectives.Oversee key initiatives like Paint the Town and Rake Up Boise, ensuring sponsorships and volunteer support meet event costs.Work with CBE department to provide direction for monthly committee meetings.Manage CBE, marketing, and events budgets, tracking expenditures and coordinating adjustments with accounting.External Communications and Marketing:Lead NWB’s external communications and website.Implement NWB’s marketing strategies to increase program awareness.Manage content creation and marketing collateral, ensuring brand consistency.Manage all media relations and marketing efforts for the organization as requested by the COO.Event Management:Plan and execute NWB events and manage event budgets for sustainability.Evaluate programs to improve services based on ongoing analysis.Recruit, train, and oversee event volunteers.Cultivate relationships with event sponsors to secure funding and manage event budgets.Fundraising and Donor Management:Collaborate with the Grant Department to support event-related grants and fundraising efforts.Oversee donor communications and relationship management using CRM platforms like Bloomerang.Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, community foundations, and corporate sponsors to support NWB’s fundraising goals.Community Engagement and Partnerships:Represent NWB in community groups, chambers, and forums to build partnerships and increase public awareness of NWB’s programs.Plan opportunities for booths at relevant events and conferences.Support the Resident Services Coordinator in fostering relationships with property management and NWB’s multi-family communities, ensuring successful volunteer-led community-building activities and events that foster resident leadership and empowerment.*Above description is not inclusive of all job duties.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Client and Partner Relations: Efficiently assess and support stakeholder needs.Quality Assurance: Adhere to performance standards and procedures.Professionalism: Maintain confidentiality and accept feedback constructively.Communication: Strong written and verbal skills across platforms.Leadership and Event Management: Lead diverse teams and manage large events.Marketing: Proficient in social media and impact evaluation.Technical Skills: Advanced in Microsoft Office, WordPress, Adobe, InDesign, Photoshop, and Canva.Analytical Thinking: Use data to enhance marketing and donor activities.Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, outreach, leadership, or program development required.At least three years of experience in communications, marketing, and/or event management, with supervisory experience and a proven ability to lead teams and manage budgets.Bilingual in English/Spanish strongly preferred.Job Type:
