Job Description:
As a Communications Construction Project Manager specializing in Data Centers at Eden Capital Careers, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of data center construction projects. Your role will involve managing all aspects of project delivery, from initial concept through to final handover, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination:Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.Coordinate resources, including subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams, to ensure efficient project execution.
Construction Management:Oversee all phases of construction, including site preparation, installation of communications infrastructure, and systems integration.Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.Manage procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:Implement quality control measures to ensure workmanship and materials meet established standards.Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety guidelines.Conduct inspections and audits to identify and address deficiencies promptly.
Client Communication and Relationship Management:Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and budgetary matters.Address client concerns and requests in a professional and timely manner.Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster repeat business and referrals.

Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on data center construction projects.RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) certification required.Proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects from conception to completion.Strong understanding of telecommunications infrastructure, including networking, cabling, and data center technologies.Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, Procore).Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
