The CAD Design department is accountable for the creation and modification of all computer drafting, graphics, 3D models, and views generated (ground plans, detail drawings, schematic documentation, etc.) that helps to tell the stories of our live show offerings including parades, stage shows and special events on and off the Disney property, and on-board the Disney Cruise Line.We are looking for an individual with an innovative mind-set and a fervor for Disney quality and creativity. We are seeking someone who will be motivated to ensure that the Disney standards are reflected consistently in all design & technical materials.Demonstrating knowledge of basic design, including 2D digital drawings as well as 3D modelingAssisting with in-the-field information gathering via laser scanning, digital photographs and physical measurementsGiving to the advancement of the Pre-visualization part of the design workflowFacilitating a design from art concept through bid package, as part of a collective design processParticipating in appropriate DLE seminars and meetingsCoordinating conference room logistics for project/creative reviews and showsRequired Qualifications & Skills

Proficiency with at least one 3D design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino or 3ds Max, Blender)Computer proficiency within a Windows environment such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPointFamiliarity with BIM Concepts and processesSolid understanding of RhinoExperience with Unreal Engine and developing VR ExperiencesSignificant experience with Autodesk RevitMaterials Required

Be enrolled in an accredited college/university, taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at the time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.Currently enrolled as a Junior, Senior, recent graduate, or graduate studentMajor or previous coursework in Business, Supply chain, Finance, Data Management, Fashion Merchandising, Costume Technology, Apparel Buying, Apparel Development, Sourcing, or related fieldCandidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements

Be at least 18 years of agePossess unrestricted work authorizationHave not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College ProgramBe compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelinesAvailable to work full-time hours (approximately 40 hours per week; possible nights and weekends) for the duration of the internshipAble to provide own housing in the
