Our family-run business is committed to building ideal relationships with customers, employees, and communities by crafting some of our industry's most innovative and trusted tools.The Corporate Communications Manager will be responsible for leading, executing and implementing a corporate communications strategy for IDEAL Industries, Inc. As a proactive leader and the voice of corporate communications, the manager provides strategy, direction and thought leadership for a range of key campaigns and messaging needs. The manager works closely with the Center of Excellence, global leaders, and HR contacts to craft communication plans to help IDEAL achieve its objectives. The position reports to the Director, Digital Marketing at IDEAL Corporate and has one direct report.Responsibilities
Responsibilities:Develop and execute branded, integrated, global communications strategies for key enterprise priorities that span internal and external audiences.
Provide functional leadership to internal communications team to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging.Partner effectively across the organization and with key stakeholders to integrate and align communications to broader enterprise content.Ensure that established brand voice, cultural messages and content are embedded in communications across all aspects of the organization - operationally, strategically, and through change frameworks.Develop strategies for providing tools and resources to global leaders.Work with cross-functional partners to manage inbound requests.Manage strategy and implementation of plans and programs that elevate the personal branding & profiles of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) in internal and external communications.Regularly set and deliver against internal and external metrics/KPIs for communications plans to drive brand trust and confidence in the IDEAL business and leadership.
Qualifications
Qualifications:Four-year college degree with min 7-10 years post-college experience in communications (or the equivalent in experience)2-3 years copywriting experienceExperience bringing a brand to life through online & offline channels.Must have ability to travel within the US or abroad on occasion.Corporate PR experience a plusKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions.Able to work successfully on an independent basis.Able to deal with people at all levels.Attention to detail and drive for results.Possess business acumen in order to understand operational interaction between departments.Creative and analytical problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment.IDEAL INDUSTRIES, INC. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
