Job Summary:

We are seeking a UX Researcher with a passion for exploring people's goals, motivations, and behaviors through research. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting both qualitative and quantitative user research to inform design decisions. You will collaborate closely with design professionals and business teams to translate research findings into actionable insights, helping improve user experience and influence design strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and Communication:

•Perform research activities (e.g., interviews) to explore customer needs and inform design decisions.

•Conduct heuristic evaluations of vendor and internally-developed experiences to assess usability.

•Conduct research across multiple platforms and interfaces (e.g., desktop, web, physical spaces).

•Synthesize quantitative and qualitative research findings into insights (e.g., personas, scenarios).

•Present and advocate research findings and recommendations to internal teams and stakeholders.

Strategy and Planning:

•Conduct user interviews to understand business goals and determine research approaches.

•Partner with research leads and business teams to coordinate research logistics (e.g., recruiting).

•Assist in planning efforts based on business goals, research complexity, and personal capacity.

People and Culture:

•Collaborate with internal design teams and customers to better understand their perspectives.

•Support activities to increase awareness of human-centered research approaches and practices.

Required Qualifications:

•Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

•5+ years of proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing design projects.

•Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch and Figma.

•Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.

•Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and defend design decisions.

•Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

•Experience working in agile development environments is a plus.
