The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver with experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain SaaS-based OTT video applications for mobile and TV platforms.Must-Have Experience:A degree in Computer Science or a related field.Most recent experience must be with a software development company, ideally a SaaS software company, as a Senior Software Developer. Experience in financial companies or other non-software sectors will not be a fit.Looking for experience working in a true software company with commercial products. Small companies are acceptable if the product was notable, but enterprise-level experience is preferred.Strong knowledge of Java and Android SDKProficiency with Android technology developmentFamiliarity with RESTful APIs and JSONFamiliarity with video playerAbility to multi-task, organize, and prioritize workKnowledge of DevOps and CI/CD tools, like Git and JenkinsKnowledge of Agile methodologies, like Scrum and KanbanGood speaking and written communication skills in EnglishPreferred qualifications:Previously worked on live/vod video streaming platforms/productsExperience with Kotlin and Jetpack ComposeExperience with iOS Objective C or Swift/SwiftUIUnderstanding of various multimedia transport protocols such as: RTP, RTMP, SRT, UDP, HLS/DASH etc.Experienced in cryptography such as SHA/AES/DES/RSA/SSL/TLS etc.Good Understanding of Digital Rights Management Systems (DRM), including Playready, Widevine & FairPlaySalary
