This position is responsible to work with the hotel’s operations, food & beverage, and events team to deliver unique, memorable and world class marketing events and programs to the hotel.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES:

Provide account management and project management for creation, planning, and coordination of marketing events and programs

Responsible for ensuring accurate execution of partner and sponsor activations and events, including communications across all hotel departments and marketing channels, including the website, social media, and to the PR agency(s).

Partner with local and national brands for onsite hotel events and activations, generating awareness and revenue to the hotel and its outlets.

Reports directly to the hotel’s General Manager while working in conjunction with the Director of Arlo’s Brand Marketing team to ensure the hotel’s marketing objectives are met.

Plan and coordinate, as well as be present to assist with, on-premises events, ensuring accurate execution of partnership & internal activations to maximize impact of new and existing sponsors.

Work collaboratively with cross functional teams, Director of Marketing, Director of Ecommerce, and Graphic Design team to achieve departmental goals

Work closely with food & beverage teams on property level to manage marketing calendar and communication, creatin marketable guest experiences on holidays and cultural occassion such as but not limited to Halloween events, PRIDE, Women’s History Month, NYE, 4th of July, etc.

Draft content copy and/or respond to brand emails related to communications and marketing and to assist larger teams

Collaborate with Arlo’s marketing team with creative needed (on property signage, email marketing, digital marketing, etc.) Any creative must have approval from Arlo’s Director of Art and Design and/or external partner prior to distribution.

Work in conjunction with marketing team and media partners to track and measure success of PR initiatives, digital marketing initiatives, and other ROI driven actions

Responsible, with Director of Marketing to create templates for event master worksheets (e.g. Event Overview and One Sheet) and management of documents in organization tool (Box, etc)

Champion innovation and change; create an environment in which creativity and innovation are the norm and change is not only accepted but encouraged.

Acquire and utilize all available consumer data, industry trends, and venue stats to drive tactics.

Manage activation process and platforms (including website content, guest facing communication: including email, in room, and text), and internal communication for consistently excellent execution across the organization.

Executes against Key Performance Indicators for brand activations, which may include, however not limited to brand impressions, consumer engagement, product sales, maximizing ROI sponsor retention, etc.

Meet or exceed marketing and programming goals set forth by General Manager and Director of Brand Marketing.

QUALIFICATIONS

University or college degree from an accredited institution.

2+ years of marketing experience

Basic computer skills and knowledge of various computer software, including strong proficiency in Microsoft Office

Strong and compelling writing skills

Proficiency and deep understanding of social media best practices

Positive, enthusiastic approach
