As a Fueling Mechanical Designer, you'll be involved in various stages of project planning, site assessments, analytical design, and the preparation of reports, specifications, and mechanical plans. You will also play a key role in creating proposals and construction documentation, collaborating with a diverse project team across multiple types of projects and client needs.

Undertake a range of assignments using established methods and techniques, focusing on drawing sequences, presentations, system component integration, and refining initial sketches. All tasks must adhere to company, client, and project design standards.Create complete Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) based on input from design engineers, whether communicated verbally or in writing.Apply basic formulas and principles, leveraging your understanding of core mechanical concepts and practices.Develop production drawings, conduct problem analysis, and perform design layout and calculations, particularly for complex and non-standard assignments.Handle a variety of mechanical design tasks using established methods, including sequencing drawings, sizing system components, and refining rough sketches.Implement design changes or updates, including making redlines or mark-ups on ongoing projects.Review reports, drawings, and test results to inform project planning and design.Interpret and apply relevant design codes and specifications to meet project requirements.Ensure that design drawings meet quality standards and are completed within the scope, budget, and timeline of the project. All project tasks must be completed within the allocated hours and deadlines.Perform layout, equipment, wiring, and schematic calculations.Organize and manage revisions to project drawings, plot files, and related information systematically.Communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally, especially in relation to client coordination during projects.Additional duties as assigned will be expected.Compliance with all company policies and standards is mandatory.Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in drafting technology or a related field with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree with 8 years of experience, or 9 years of progressive experience in detailing and design.High-level proficiency in design software such as Plant 3D, Revit, AutoCAD (2D/3D), and Excel, with a willingness and ability to learn new software tools.Strong expertise in using both 2D and 3D applications for engineering drawings.Comprehensive understanding of design systems, calculations, and methodologies.A solid grasp of the theories and practices in your assigned discipline, with a strong understanding of related disciplines, and the ability to use the necessary design software for production tasks.Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting, including with Project Managers, Engineers, and Designers, to resolve issues and meet project goals.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.Preferred Experience:

Experience with Piping Design Systems.Background in aviation fueling systems, including pump skids and fabrication-level design.Proficiency in modeling using Plant 3D, Revit, and AutoCAD (2D/3D).
