Chiropractor Duties and Responsibilities:Consulting with the patient about their medical history and the reason for their visitCreating a plan of care that focuses on the patient’s overall health and wellbeingAssessing the patient’s spine, posture and reflexes to provide the appropriate treatmentPerforming neuromusculoskeletal therapy by adjusting the patient’s spine and other jointsProviding supplemental treatments, such as massage and acupuncture to the injured areaGiving advice on lifestyle habits such as sleep, exercise and diet to improve patients physical healthWorking with other medical professionals to render the most comprehensive care possible.

Qualifications needed:A Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from an accredited chiropractic collegeNew graduates considered, one year in practice preferred.Alaska license preferred, but not necessary for hire.Must be familiar with billing medical insurance, and electronic medical records.
