About this role Writer is seeking a Senior Director of Field Marketing to join our outstanding marketing team. This role is designed for a strategic leader who excels in partnering closely with sales in creating and executing innovative field marketing strategies that drive brand engagement and pipeline generation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in executing regional field marketing campaigns, with a proven track record of boosting pipeline and revenue. Your responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive field marketing strategy that aligns with the company’s overall marketing goals and business objectives. Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of all field events, including regional conferences, experiences, and deal acceleration programs. Partner with sales and collaborate with marketing teams to design field marketing programs that support sales objectives and increase market penetration. Build, manage, and scale the field marketing team in line with sales growth. Evaluate the effectiveness of field marketing campaigns, using data to inform future strategies and improve ROI. Develop and manage the budget for field marketing, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in field marketing to keep our strategies ahead of the curve. Build and maintain relationships with external partners, sponsors, and vendors to enhance event experiences and outcomes. Is this you? Minimum of 8 years’ experience in marketing, with a significant focus on field and event marketing in a leadership role. Demonstrated success in leading field marketing strategies and executing regional events. Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects under tight deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners. Proficient in using event management tools and CRM software. Preferred Skills: Experience in a specific industry, e.g., technology, healthcare sector. Creative and strategic thinker with a passion for event innovation.
