Amazon Ads is innovating to help brands of all sizes reach relevant audiences in our stores and on our streaming services, apps, devices and across the web to help grow their businesses through delightful customer experiences.As a PR Specialist for Amazon Ads, you will provide communications counsel to, and partner with, business and comms stakeholders to craft and implement communications programs that help educate and inspire our audiences. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, developing and executing owned and earned communications strategies, tactics, and content; ongoing reactive media relations; collaborating with colleagues across a variety of Amazon communications, business, and policy teams; and working with our international teams to help extend and localize programs and content for their regions.The successful candidate is customer-obsessed with high-judgment. They are exemplary written and verbal communicators with a passion for media relations, including managing complex and high-profile media engagements. The candidate should have experience working with high standards under tight deadlines and a proven track record of earning trust from internal and external stakeholders.Key job responsibilities

Spearhead owned and earned (proactive and reactive) communications strategies and messaging on behalf of Amazon AdsProvide strategic PR counsel and support to business partnersKeep current on industry trends, issues, and news and proactively provide related counselBuild and maintain relevant media relationshipsSuccessfully manage complex, fast-moving and unexpected communications challengesBASIC QUALIFICATIONS5+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experienceBachelor's degreePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS2-3 years advertising industry or technology experience2-3 years of reactive media relations experienceExperience writing for a range of audiences and formatsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $68,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $147,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.This position will remain posted until filled.
