Submit your CV and any additional required information after you have read this description by clicking on the application button.What You Will Be DoingAs a Circuit Card Designer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Electrical DesignSimulation and verification/validation testing of high-speed printed circuit board design and electronic systemServing as a subject matter expert in digital design and signal integrityPerform design, simulation, and validation activities through product development cyclesIt is possible that travel will be required to both customer and supplier sites. It is possible that travel will be both within and outside the Continental United States (CONUS). Telecommuting opportunities can vary depending on daily tasking.Candidates filling this position will need to be a US citizen and will need a clearance at the level specified in “Clearance Level” or will need the ability to get a clearance if not specified. In addition to meeting security clearance requirements, candidates may need to be approved to work Special Access Program (SAP) prior to start of employment.

Basic Qualifications:

Design experience and knowledge of Printed Wiring Boards (PWB), circuit card assemblies, rigid flex board, and/or harnessStrong understanding of digital circuit card design and analysisAbility to generate board layout requirements to meet design performance and design for manufacture (DFM) requirementsExperience in high speed digital circuit design with ability to perform signal integrity simulations for multiple high-speed standards like 100G Ethernet, DDR2/3/4, PCIeProviding design guidelines and support for system architecture design, board layout, product bring-up, debug, validation, and factory builds

Desired Skills:

Electrical team leadership is a plusSystem electrical architecture experience is a plusAbility to develop design verification plan and perform system integrationProcessor board design or complex digital design including processor or FPGA System on a chip (SOC)Perform circuit analysis in SPICE or similar tool like LTSpice / ICAP / etc.Familiar with high speed serial interface protocol like ethernet, PCIeFPGA sizing and power to support board designStrong understanding of PCB in design for manufacturing (DFM)Perform post board layout signal integrity analysisPerform digital high speed design verification and validation including measurementsAbilities to mentor others and guide others in digital high speed design and analysis

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
