Monday, September 30, 2024Eagle Integrated Services, LLC (EIS) is seeking Technical Writer support for a new client at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland. The Ideal candidate will need a Secret Clearance to qualify,We are seeking a Technical Writer to support in the disciplines as listed, but not limited to, below:Responsibilities:Work closely with business application stakeholder(s) to define and document requirementsWrite, edits, and help sections updates User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) copy.Creates and builds out user assistance infrastructure, including how-to sections, FAQs, and Help sections.Updates, edits, and proofreads written materials such as product manuals, user manuals, how-to guides, and FAQs.Writes about technical subjects for technical and nontechnical audiences.Tests and updates existing documentation.Adheres to and updates in-house style guide.Create and collaborate in decision documentation by researching new technologies and offering critical analysis of pros and cons, considering the best fit for business application.Aid SEC team members in the knowledge transfer of the coding updates made to the business application to support customer requirements. Develop required documentation for comprehensive knowledge sharing.Collects user data to determine areas of documentation that need revision and updating.May serve on quality design, product development, or user experience teams.Given a desired outcome, able to identify and complete the work required without supervision.Provides guidance to others for resolving problems and completing complex tasks.Documents the specifications, design, features and operation of applicationsWrites and edits user manuals, help systems and other technical documentsCreates and maintains diagrams representing system configurations and process workflowsDesigns and formats documents using document-creation softwareInterviews technical and functional stakeholders to obtain and validate documentation content.Understands, follows and promotes the values and principles in the Agile ManifestoUnderstands, follows and promotes continuous cyber security risk managementQualifications
:A Bachelor’s Degree, in Computer Science, Mathematics, or other Engineering or Technical discipline + 4 years of relevant experience all within the last 4 years.Three (3) additional years of applicable experience with appropriate certifications/relevant experience may be substituted for the degree.
