As a Senior Graphics Designer/Art Director, you will have the opportunity to think bigger, dig deeper and grow your creative craft. The candidate will be part of the Brand and Creative team and is responsible for bringing design work on a wide range of touch points including Brand, Product Marketing, Marketing Campaigns and more to life. The ideal candidate is proficient from ideation through end delivery, with experience in both creative agencies and in-house brand creative marketing teams. You should have at least 6+ years of experience in 360 integrated campaigns (including some Video, Social and Web) showing steady career growth from junior production design roles to Sr. Designer / Art Director. Your experience should also demonstrate stewardship of Brand Design, evolution of skills and execution of trends over time.
Please note: This role will be required to be in our SF office at minimum 2x/week (Tuesdays & Wednesdays)
What you’ll be doing:
Creative & Design
Collaborate with Marketing, Product & UI/UX stakeholders to shape first impressions and customer journey, and develop design treatments for multi-channel assets.
Participate in strategic brainstorming, campaign development, and creative execution, designing presentations that maintain a strategic thread from concept to delivery.
Use insight and analytics to understand current performance and future opportunities with design.
Stay up to date with design trends and generate new ideas to draw the audience's attention.
Brand Stewardship
Enforce the Keen brand look and feel across all content and channels, refreshing and extending the visual identity through various media.
Establish design best practices and provide art direction to UI/UX teams to ensure quality and alignment in content across all placements.
Collaborate with marketing partners to design end deliverables, approaching projects with a strategic lens and strong storytelling skills.
What you’ll need to be successful:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Digital Media Design, Advertising/Portfolio school or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
6+ years of design experience, specializing in brand creation and design systems for digital and traditional media. (Mix of both creative agencies and in-house experience preferred)
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Google Slides, Google Office, Slack, Jira and Contentstack a plus.
Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
Able to flex as a production designer to output all necessary end deliverables for any given project.
Understands that the concept behind a visual execution is as important as the design itself.
Possesses strong communication design skills, understanding the synergy between layout, color theory, typography, and information hierarchy.
Embraces iterative design processes and welcomes feedback.
Adapts easily between projects, even under tight timelines.
Strong experience in Digital & Social with the added bonus of Print and Motion Design a plus.
Experience working on brands in the B2C space that are service centric.
Experience being an integral part of rebrands + execution of rebrands.

Pay Transparency:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $135,000-$145,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
