Forecast and Strategy team (F&S) Team within Amazon Advertising is looking for an experienced professional with excellent analytical skills and strong business acumen to develop and implement our supply planning tools and mechanisms in a fast-paced and innovative environment, at a global scale.
This role requires someone with strong analytic skills and business acumen who will work with stakeholders on strategic planning/projects within Amazon Advertising. Some examples of project work may include support of long-term Amazon Advertising site strategy; planning models development, input forecasting and general project evaluation for Amazon Advertising network cost, quality, scale, flexibility and business continuity. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytic background that enables him/her to manage global network planning, a demonstrated ability to think broadly and strategically about Advertising initiatives and the ability to persuade executives to build consensus on objectives.
Key job responsibilities
· Create a reliable and effective capacity plan for the global Brand Innovation Lab team
· Understand the creative development life cycle and assess the capacity requirement for different stages
· Optimize capacity for the business across different country and vertical teams by balancing business impact, employee experience and cost effectiveness.
· Identify productive measures and build reporting
· Build and maintain KPIs that reliably reflect the end-customer experience
· Partner with recruiting, business leaders, data and analytics teams
· Create new reporting & analytic opportunities by analyzing and understanding key planning processes
· Thought leadership on integration of new products/services supported by Advertising.
· Document writing and presentations up to the director level.
Basic Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree
· SQL and Excel experience
· 5+ years of relevant experience in financial/business analysis, quantitative research or analyses.
Preferred Qualifications
· Received a Master's degree
· Operations research or capacity planning experience
· Some programming experience is a plus to automate tools whenever appropriate
· Advertising industry experience
· Knowledge of QuickSight/ Tableau
· Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills and an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
· Proven problem solving skills, project management skills, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills
· Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast paced environment while delivering results (Service Level and occupancy goals, Finance objectives)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $80,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $172,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
