Applications will continue to be accepted until this date.Position Description The Department of English at UCLA invites applications for lecturers to teach early modern British literature. Candidate must have a PhD. Candidates should submit a letter of application, curriculum vitae and dossier including three letters of recommendation and a teaching statement. We welcome candidates who possess a record of teaching excellence, training and experience in teaching literature to a diverse student body, and evidence of a strong commitment to diversity, inclusive pedagogy, student success, and access to higher education.We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in teaching poetry, prose and drama of the early modern period, including the works of Shakespeare and Milton. Experience in upper as well as lower division teaching at a major research university is preferred.Qualifications and Application Requirements
