About the Role:

PURPOSE:

The Digital Marketing Manager manages brand social channels with the goal of increasing engagement and generating revenue for Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis. The Digital Marketing Manager supports the Director of Marketing and Director of Public Relations & Communications to execute strategies in digital marketing, social media, content development, public relations, online reputation management, and measures success through outcomes supported by analytics and reporting.

Social Media/Digital Marketing:

Initiate and manage the hotel’s social media strategy (Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube) with support from the Director of Public Relations; curate engaging content that showcases Brand DNA while increasing total audience size and engagement.

Plan and execute photo and video shoots in collaboration with other departments (R&B, Spa) to develop engaging content.

Develop content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posting across platforms, maintaining brand standard activity levels.

Utilize available programs (including Sprout, Social Native, Tracker) to streamline social media management, integrate User Generated Content, and vet influencers and meet corporate KPIs.

Execute effective community management of all social media platforms; monitor for comments and respond in a timely manner.

Ensure social media content performs well in Brand Clarity audit and monthly marketing scorecard.

Execute strategies and tactics outlined in FS Corporate Toolkit and ensure participation in corporate global social media campaigns.

Manage hotel online presence on Four Seasons owned channels and partner sites (CVent, Party Slate, OTAs, Newsroom, etc.), ensuring alignment with the Hotel’s positioning, storytelling and business objectives.

Manage online reputation (using Revinate, Google); monitor, report reviews/sentiment to internal stakeholders, lead community response.

Support DOM/PRD and agency partners with digital marketing tactics, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and display advertising to ensure messaging and creative is aligned.

Lead social media advertising campaigns and brief submissions.

Manage email marketing campaigns; develop timely and relevant communications for distribution.

Attend relevant meetings, including monthly Acronym, biweekly R&B PR meeting.

PR/Marketing Communications:

Manage hotel profile on Four Seasons image library; execute necessary release forms; submit new images for approval; clear dated images from library.

Collaborate on the development of marketing partnerships and hotel activations that both enhance the guest experience and drive engagement.

Proactively organize Influencer and Media on-property experiences, itineraries, and events.

Assist with the organization, publicity, and execution of PR events and activations on and off property.

Assist with the creation of internal/external promotional materials, including print, digital, owned assets and other collateral.

Foster relationships with media and influencers and respond to queries as needed; assist with updating and maintaining media/influencer database (Cision).

Assist with tracking coverage and reporting on KPIs.

What we are looking for:

Education:

College degree preferred.

Experience:

Previous digital marketing/social media experience required, preferably within the hospitality or luxury industry and preferably 2-4 years minimum experience.

Skills and Abilities:

Experience with social media platforms, consumer engagement and strong awareness of the digital world.

Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.

Photography and video skills and an eye for aesthetics.

Attention to detail and organization.

Influencer relations experience.

Knowledge of Canva, photo/video editing and production, familiarity with graphic arts and collateral.

Ability to multi-task effectively, managing multiple projects while being cognizant of deadlines and priorities.

Ability to manage third-party agencies, partners, and vendors.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
