This role will support the Samsung Home Entertainment division – which includes the industry-leading portfolio of Samsung TVs, projectors, audio, and memory innovations. The role reports to and will work closely with the Sr. Manager of Social and Influencer, and will collaborate frequently with the Samsung integrated marketing teams and external agencies. The social media manager will craft engaging social media copy for @SamsungUS’s social media platforms, analyze data to provide insights and identify trends, news, and other culture-relevant content to amplify across O&O channels.You’ll thrive if you’re an energetic and nimble self-starter with a deep understanding of the social media landscape who’s passionate about tech and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Please note this position is on-site at Ridgefield, NJ. There is a strict on-site attendance policy.ResponsibilitiesManage Samsung’s social media content calendar to ensure that Samsung is tapping into emerging trends and relevant moments in culture, tech, and sportsMaintain active community management presence across Samsung’s owned social media channelsProducing valuable data reports to make informed, strategic recommendations for Samsung’s social content strategy and tacticsCollaborate with PR, strategy, and creative teams to execute major initiatives & branded campaignsOrganize planning and creative execution of social contentStay informed of industry regulations and guidelines related to social media content, ensuring compliance and ethical standards are metQualifications5-8+ years’ experience in managing social media accounts for well-established brandsStrong project management skills and experience running operations within a social media teamStrong attention to detail with good editorial judgment, accuracy, and sensitivityPassion for and/or experience in consumer electronics and technology a plusExperience with Reddit and Discord campaigns a plusGreat communicator in both written and verbal form with impeccable copywriting skillsAbility to process and interpret complex information and turn difficult concepts into easy-to-understand and persuasive copy/messagingFamiliarity with agency managementMust be able to prioritize and handle several projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment while adhering to shifting deadlinesVideo and photo editing skills are a plus
