This senior level position provides strategic marketing oversight, support and brokering services for the Client Executives and Sales Producers at Wye River Insurance (WRI). This role leverages an advanced skill set with P&C coverage knowledge to design appropriate insurance programs and negotiate coverage and pricing with insurance carriers and wholesalers. Serving the WRI client service, and sales teams, the Senior Commercial Insurance Marketing leverages an in depth understanding of clients’ operations, risk exposures, contractual requirements and obligations to create appropriate, competitive and comprehensive insurance programs for WRI’s brokerage clients. This role focuses on the quality of submissions to the marketplace, trains and educates junior employees, and is responsible for overseeing the quoting, placement and quality control of a book of business.As the Senior Commercial Insurance Marketing Executive, your primary responsibilities include:Provide commercial lines marketing support to the WRI staff including input and recommendations on viable markets for risks. Collaborate with the WRI client service and sales teams to showcase your understanding of the insurance marketplace, coverages, and the importance of quality risk assessments and exposure analysis for all insureds; subcontractors, general contractors, owner/operators, real estate service vendors – landscape companies, emergency restoration, pest control and maintenance companies, property management, and developers.Understands and trains/assists staff with the creation of exposure checklists, statement of values, review of operating memorandums, property conditions reports, core logic reports, flood maps, experience modification calculations, and security analysis.Responsible for building and maintaining excellent relationships with carrier underwriters and wholesalers.Responsible for creating and sending quality submissions to the marketplace and negotiating terms and conditions on quotes. Deliver and oversee the execution of consistent quality exposure analysis, carrier submissions, coverage comparisons and proposals to clients and general client communication. Assist with the drafting and review of new business and renewal proposals.Deliver consistent quality service and support concerning reviewing policies, effective communication with the carriers regarding policy changes and endorsements.Train WRI staff in the marketing process, including understanding a client’s operations, creating submissions, how to read a policy, interpret exclusions and nuances in coverage and provide general education on coverage.Familiarity with Builders Risk, WRAPs, SDI, OPPI, Owners Interest specialty coverages is required.The ability to work in a team environment required. This position may accompany the client or sales executive to client meetings upon the executive’s request.Responsible for contract review and coverage recommendations.Supports office cross selling efforts and other company growth initiatives.Supports E&O requirements regarding EPIC documentation and internal audit requirements.This role will report to the President of Wye River Insurance.What You Bring to Us:

Minimum of 5 - 7 years insurance experience in a commercial Property & Casualty brokerage environment with success in client service, account management and placementBA/BS Degree in insurance, finance or related field a plusAdvanced designations such as CIC, CPCU, ARM desirable.Industry expertise preferred (i.e., real estate, hospitality, construction)Ability to focus on delivering exceptional client service while working in a fast paced, high- volume environment with minimal supervision.Ability to work in a consultative team environment, effectively lead a team and support and develop junior colleagues on the team.Requires a thorough understanding of large deductible and/or complex casualty programs. Must be able to effectively communicate and explain loss sensitive and complex casualty programs to clients.Requires a thorough understanding of property, casualty and management liability insurance coverage.Property and Casualty License required.Requires excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, customer service and team- building skills.Competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).Critical thinking skills, problem solving and decision-making skills.Time management and organizing.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.What We Bring You:
