Director of Marketing and Communications
will function as the point person for marketing, communications, graphic design, printed and online curriculum, and all online platforms including: website, app, podcast, blog, live-stream, social media, and our online store. MANUP is led by our founding Pastor, J. Huffman, and is supported by a full-time Connections Pastor, an Operations Manager, and a faithful team of volunteers. Responsibilities:
Marketing:
Expanding our local, national, and global reach through digital, print, and in-person marketing.
Digital:
Creating and designing digital ads for social media, texts, and email.
Print:
Creating and designing printed promotional materials such as invite cards, business cards, flyers, newsletters, newspaper ads, etc.
In-Person:
Identifying and coordinating in-person promotional opportunities with churches, ministries, conferences, and local organizations.
Communications:
Creating and scheduling weekly communications to donors, leaders, members, and new guests.
Donors:
Create a donor engagement plan to welcome new donors and celebrate recurring donors through text, email, cards, newsletters, and impact reports.
Leaders:
Partner with our Connections Pastor to send out weekly updates and encouragement to our campus leaders and table group leaders.
Members:
Partner with our Connections Pastor to send out weekly reminders and video links to our regular attenders and MANUP alumni.
Partner with our Connections Pastor to create a new guest engagement plan that welcomes and follows up with new attendees.
Curriculum:
Manage the design, publication, and promotional process for our free online and printed curriculum.
Design:
Creating and designing cover art and promotional graphics for 6-8 new Bible Study series per year.
Publication:
Utilize J’s teaching notes to create and design the spiral-bound printed curriculum for 6-8 new Bible study series per year.
Promotion:
Find creative ways to promote our free Bible study curriculum and printed notebooks on our website, app, podcast, and social media platforms.
Online:
Manage all online platforms including: website, app, podcast, blog, live-stream, social media, and online store.
Website:
MANUP.org is built and hosted on Wix Studio and is our primary platform for distributing our Bible Study content through streaming videos, digital downloads, group registration, and our online store.
App:
The MANUP App is a streamlined platform to access our video lessons on your mobile device or smart TV and is updated every week with new content.
Podcast:
The MANUP Podcast is the audio version of our weekly video lesson and is currently published on Apple and Spotify.
Blog:
Help us launch an online blog with quotes, clips, and inspirational copy from our weekly lesson.
Social Media:
Post, manage and moderate all social media platforms including: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Vimeo, YouTube, and X.
Online Store:
The MANUP store is hosted on Shopify and is the one-stop-shop for MANUP merchandise and spiral-bound printed curriculum.
