This is a full-time, W-2 position in Indianapolis!The Offer:Compensation structure: Base plus commission$50k salary base plus commission with TRUE first year earnings of $75k401k available from day one, with a 4% match available after 1 yearHealthcare Stipend: $200/mo applied to premium on your plan of choice.PTO and Paid HolidaysAdditional closure between the Christmas and New Year’s holidays!Mileage reimbursement available for local travel to in-home appointments.Autonomy over in-home appointment schedulingTechnology and sample books provided!A Day in the Life:Report to the showroom, where you’ll partner with other designers and focus on project management of each existing sale through the installation processTravel to in-home appointments, demonstrating focused expertise on product lines to execute salesPrice and quote luxury design projectsForm relationships with builders, clients, and other stakeholders, taking part in lead generation and business developmentMaintain relationships with current esteemed, luxury clientelePractice upfront design sales for luxury custom designs without sticker shock or fear of an upsellHours: M-F, 8:00am-5:00pm, with flexibility to close salesQualifications:2-3 years experience designing and selling custom cabinetry, window coverings and/or furnitureMillwork/custom fabrication sales experience is a plusProven lead generation capabilities, with a track record of sales executionA knack for applying product knowledge to create a laser-focused profile of product recommendations for clients, aiding them in the selection process and proactively closing salesDesign sales project management experience, from recommendation to installationEntrepreneurial, detail-oriented, and drivenBorn to work at a fast pace and not deterred by 6-month project deadlinesNot slow to recommend a $36k+ sale - ideally, this is second nature based on your experienceAbility to read CAD and floor plans and understand design scaleMore on our Ideal Candidate:You love design but are even more energized by sales executionYou are team-centric, tech savvy, and project/process-orientedYou adore the details but don’t get trapped in themYou don’t shy from conflict when closing a sale or working with a team - your mediation skills get you over every hurdle between you and installation.You’re a natural networker - keeping relationships with clients is second-nature!Sound like you??
