We're looking for a communicator who thrives working in a fast, rapidly changing business landscape to support us on this journey.As a member of our Employee and Leadership Communications team, the Internal Communications Consultant will be responsible for leading various internal communications initiatives and campaigns. This role will elevate how Corteva communicates and engages with internal audiences across our sites around the globe.Seeking two Internal Communications Consultants. Positions preferably based in Indianapolis, Indiana (global headquarters), and the other in Johnston, Iowa. No relocation offered.What You'll Do:Develop and deliver compelling internal messaging and materials to inform, inspire, and engage employees.Support the needs and requirements of the global employee and leadership communications team as required.Work across the business to identify and develop stories centered around business priorities.Lead and/or support global editorial process for content development across Corteva's intranet and global employee newsletter; ensure content is aligned to brand standards, style guidelines, and is benchmarked against best-in-class.Lead the development of video, audio and graphic content for employee communications.Create and execute an integrated communications strategy for connecting with employees who spend most of their time at production facilities, in field operations or on the road.Create, deploy, and maintain toolkits, videos, talking points and other resources to help inform, inspire and engage colleagues at site and field locations.Help drive the engagement and mobilization of field and site employees to support key business messaging and advocacy activities when needed.Review, edit, and distribute communications that are timely, accurate and compelling.Create and execute a communications strategy to drive employee understanding and engagement within specific content streams (ex: safety).Identify opportunities to repurpose content across various streams and channels.Proactively identify and drive opportunities to optimize our intranet and newsletter communication processes, practices, and messaging, including acting on employee feedback appropriately.Collaborate with IT to identify new (or enhancements to existing) communication channels and tools.Implement process(es) to maintain relevancy of internal communications (refreshing or removing content, as necessary).Help drive the engagement and mobilization of employees to support key business messaging and activities.Collaborate with broader Public Affairs organization, representing employee perspectives.Lead and support ad-hoc communications projects and activities.QualificationsWhat Skills You Need:Experienced communications professional with 7+ years of experience supporting communications or public relations efforts in a corporate environment.Bachelor's degree. Communications degree preferred.Previous experience working with the agriculture or chemical sector preferred.Experience working in a matrix organization, and working across functions and geographies.Effective collaborator, facilitating conversations to coach and guide stakeholders.Ability to drive purposefulness, efficiency, effectiveness, and enthusiasm across work activities.Strong project management skills.Results driven; ability to successfully execute and manage through ambiguity.Strong attention to detail and ability to quickly adapt to changing needs.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to successfully navigate challenging opportunities to meet objectives and deadlines; solves complex problems with minimal guidance.Strategic mindset that fosters innovative, creative thinking.Experience influencing and consulting with internal stakeholders.Ability to keep information discreet and confidential.Fluent in English.
