Opening in 2025 will be two additional music venues: the 250-seat Mockingbird (a listening room), and the 1,150 capacity Coach Factory (a flat floor club).POSITION SUMMARY Reporting to the Director of Production, the Technical Director manages the daily technical operation of all venues including the 2,115-seat Peace Concert Hall, the 400-seat Gunter Theatre, and the 1,350-capacity outdoor Peace Pavilion. In addition to these current performance venues, the Technical Director will have a role in the Peace Center’s expansion into a fully functioning arts and entertainment campus. This includes the renovation of three historic buildings on the campus into two new venues: Coach Factory, a 1,150-capacity, two-tiered, flat floor music club featuring a range of genres; and The Mockingbird, a 250-capacity listening room with a casual, intimate lounge featuring up-and-coming and established musicians.ESSENTIAL DUTIES (Include, but are not limited to)

Lead and supervise production staff and local labor during scheduled calls to manage the daily tasks and schedules of assigned crew. Ensure the proper use of house equipment and efficient use of labor.With the Director of Production, advance events, meet with clients, technical staff, and Peace Center personnel to discuss production needs and schedule crew calls.Maintain a safe working environment of all performance and support areas ensuring that all building, electrical, and fire codes are adhered to, and Peace Center safety procedures and OSHA regulations are followed.Develop and maintain a sustainable Preventative Maintenance Program for theatrical systems and equipment.Direct the maintenance and repair of equipment in all venues including scheduling annual inspections and maintenance of equipment including rigging systems, forklift, and personnel lifts.Assist in evaluating and recommending production and capital upgrades and purchases and assist the Director of Production with the development of the capital budget.Recommend and organize training for production staff and local labor, including rigging, electrics, audio, and safety training.Handle administrative matters relative to production department personnel.Responsible for purchasing of supplies, materials, and equipment for the department.Complete all other job-related duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum five years of experience in live theater production, including three years of supervisory experience.Complete stagecraft skillset is necessary, including knowledge of the needs of all departments associated with theatrical production, including load ins, performances, load outs, and maintenance calls.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Vectorworks 2024.Ability to operate or train to operate various lifts and heavy equipment.Ability to obtain an OSHA 30 course completion card within six months of employment.ETCP certification or ability to become ETCP certified is preferred.Requirements
