The Senior Vice President of Influencer Marketing will develop and lead the agency’s influencer marketing practice while integrating with digital marketing and strategic communications programs to drive impact for our clients. You will be responsible for growing Highwire’s influencer marketing capabilities, cultivating relationships with key influencers, and leveraging key platforms to amplify campaign results.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Innovation:
Develop and execute a comprehensive influencer marketing and social media strategy that aligns with clients’ broader communications and business goals.
Stay at the forefront of influencer marketing and social media trends, platforms, and tools.
Innovate Highwire’s approach by integrating influencer marketing with social media.
Recommend influencer marketing platforms for internal adoption and ongoing partnerships.
Represent the agency through thought leadership and attendance at relevant industry events.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate influencer marketing programs into broader PR and digital campaigns.
Influencer Strategy:
Lead influencer marketing strategy and execution for key accounts.
Develop innovative campaigns that leverage influencers.
Identify opportunities to expand social media and influencer marketing services with existing clients.
Drive content creation strategies that resonate with target audiences.
Business Growth & Client Leadership:
Lead influencer marketing engagements for key accounts.
Develop and nurture relationships with influencers and social media leaders.
Drive organic growth by identifying opportunities to incorporate influencer marketing into existing client strategies.
Lead new business pitches and present innovative strategies.
Build strong senior-level client relationships.
Team Leadership & Development:
Mentor and lead a team of influencer marketing strategists.
Provide coaching and development opportunities.
Encourage experimentation with new platforms and creative strategies.
Client Success & Operational Excellence:
Ensure influencer marketing programs are executed with precision.
Implement best practices for influencer engagement and campaign measurement.
Manage budgets and resources effectively.
Qualifications
12+ years of experience in influencer marketing, social media strategy, digital marketing, or communications, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
Expertise in identifying, engaging, and managing relationships with influencers.
Demonstrated experience leading and growing influencer marketing programs within an agency environment.
Strong client-facing skills.
Proven ability to develop and execute data-driven influencer and social media strategies.
Experience mentoring and leading teams.
Strong understanding of content creation and social media platforms.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
