Our employees are deeply driven to make a positive impact, and we have an opportunity to inspire and empower them to contribute to AWS's social ethos in new and compelling ways.The Content Strategy Manager will be responsible for designing, planning, executing, and refining internal marketing efforts to inspire employees to make a meaningful impact around the world. This position will help nurture a culture of social impact at AWS and connect employees to key moments and opportunities through engaging digital and video content, including designing graphics, writing marketing copy, and managing vendors.The ideal candidate will have experience building new programs, testing, and learning along the way. They will be an excellent written communicator and have an eye for design. They will be an innovative self-starter who has delivered results in fast-paced, ambiguous, and dynamic organizations. The role requires critical attention to detail, strategic big-picture thinking, and ability to move fast. Our environment demands collaboration, accountability, and ownership. Candidates should demonstrate strong writing and editing skills, project management experience, and an ability to design and deliver content from end-to-end.Key job responsibilities

Design content and collateral to effectively convey AWS's social impact vision and calls-to-action for employees.Develop and coordinate campaigns across internal channels to amplify social impact messaging.Own the development and dissemination of the Social Responsibility & Impact (SRI) brand internally.Manage external and internal agencies and creative partners to develop impactful content. Create campaign briefs, oversee creative development, and drive cost negotiations, schedule management, and approvals.Measurably grow internal interest and engagement in AWS social impact efforts.Collaborate with stakeholders to generate new ideas and strategies that amplify positive social impact happening across AWS.Own design and maintenance of internal and external SRI sites and channels including a website, wiki, and newsletter.Identify emerging topics and develop proactive plans with stakeholders.Exercise high judgment, particularly in narrow timeframes.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

8+ years of design experience.Have an available online portfolio.Experience art directing motion designers, illustrators, writers, and content creators.Experience partnering with technical partners for design implementation.Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of marketing fundamentals and ability to implement them to create dynamic advertising solutions.Knowledge of typographic and brand design principles.Degree in marketing, design, communications, journalism, or a related field.Experience developing relevant content for a diverse and dispersed workforce.Experience developing and executing successful, creative, and complex campaigns.Solid project management skills, handling multiple tasks and evolving priorities.Possess a strategic approach to problem solving.Exposure to program management and change management best practices.Ability to think abstractly and deal with ambiguous/undefined problems.Obsession with quality, operational excellence, and customer experience.Ability to manage tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
