Our dedication to fostering a diverse and inclusive culture ensures that every individual’s voice is recognized and valued.As the Chief Communications & Marketing Officer (CCMO), you will serve as the strategic leader, steering our communications framework, enhancing our brand identity, and propelling our marketing endeavors. This position provides a unique blend of strategic oversight and active engagement, empowering you to lead a passionate marketing and communications team that aligns with our mission.Key ResponsibilitiesFormulate and implement a visionary approach for thought leadership initiatives in alignment with organizational objectives and industry trends.Build an integrative structure to engage stakeholders effectively and advocate for solutions surrounding employment barriers encountered by immigrants.Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives, board members, media representatives, partners, and influencers.Direct media relations and public awareness initiatives to elevate our presence and enhance brand recognition.Strengthen our organization’s visibility and reputation using targeted marketing and public relations strategies, ensuring consistency in messaging across all platforms.Create comprehensive messaging campaigns that promote understanding of challenges faced by immigrant and refugee professionals while providing actionable solutions.Spearhead the production of engaging content, such as articles and presentations, positioning us as a thought leader in employment opportunity equity.Oversee all facets of external and internal communications, including public relations, executive communications, crisis management, social media strategies, and participation in conferences.Develop and execute a dynamic marketing strategy for our products, fostering engagement among job seekers, donors, and partner organizations.Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities in new markets, tailoring approaches to meet diverse customer needs.Initiate educational efforts to enlighten the public and employers about the intrinsic value of immigrant and refugee professionals in the workforce.Utilize research insights to drive thought leadership initiatives, ensuring our organization remains a leading voice in employment equity discussions.Measure and demonstrate the effectiveness of marketing strategies in relation to organizational goals, including lead generation and fundraising outcomes.Required SkillsOver 10 years of experience in communications and marketing with a strong emphasis on brand strategy and innovative deliverables.At least 5 years in leadership roles showcasing increasing levels of responsibility.A proven history of visionary leadership and advocacy for thought leadership initiatives in the realm of employment opportunity equity.Strong strategic thinking and tactical implementation capabilities.Exceptional verbal and written communication prowess, adept at engaging diverse audiences.Familiarity with issues surrounding employment opportunity equity is highly advantageous.A genuine passion for social justice complemented by a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.Career Growth OpportunitiesThis position presents exceptional opportunities for personal and professional development, allowing you to lead significant thought leadership initiatives and expand your network across various sectors and regions, making a notable impact within the community and on our organizational strategy.Company Culture And ValuesWe cultivate a diverse and inclusive environment where all voices are welcomed and valued. Actual salaries may differ based on location, experience, and performance.
