This position will be a member of the broadcast support and networking teams to provide broadcast facilities with 24/7 support.Responsibilities:
Provide 24/7 technical support for NEP broadcast systems.Ensure systems are acceptably stable and responsive to field engineering staff.Develop, maintain and support NEP monitoring system.Research, design, implement, support, and manage full-stack software solutions.Test and evaluate new programs.Write and document efficient code.Maintain and upgrade existing systems.Maintain proper documentation and training of all projects.Troubleshoot and configure broadcast and network systems.Other duties as assigned.Position Requirements:
Technical or Associates degree in Computer Science desired; however, a combination of education and experience will be considered.Prior experience in the broadcast television industry preferred.Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.Demonstrates the ability to multi-task several priorities and possesses solid time management skills.Technical support background.Must be willing and able to travel as necessary.Linux, Mac, and Windows proficient.Proficient in Go, Node.JS / Python and/or other programming languages.Ability to learn new technologies and solutions quickly.Network management and monitoring experience.Understanding of layer 2 and layer 3 switching.Understanding of basic networking concepts such as VLANs, subnets, and network loops.Experience with Kubernetes and VM solutions (VMWare, Nutanix, ProxMox, AWS, etc.) a plus.Note:
