General Statement of Job:
The Social Media Coordinator will be part of a small, dedicated team of designers and video producers, and is responsible for a variety of internal and external facing materials including: talent acquisition/recruiting marketing campaigns, brand promotion; awareness, social media copy and content, event coverage, and email marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate is a versatile individual who has strong communication skills, is savvy with marketing concepts, is current on social media trends, and has experience reporting social media performance metrics from Meta Business Suite. This position will work with the Design team to develop social media marketing campaigns, and collaborate with the Senior Manager to develop social media strategy. Primary responsibilities include the execution of interactions via the company's social media accounts on platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok. Strategy analysis will be necessary for the company's digital marketing plan, as well as identifying strategic weaknesses and making recommendations for improvements. This person will research social media trends and make informed recommendations each quarter, during a review of metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs). Further, they will occasionally support live film shoots as a sound operator, on-screen talent, or production assistant.
Essential Job Functions:•Regularly writing copy and creating content for social media posts (primarily Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok), while adhering to confidentiality considerations inherent with the industry•Take creative direction, work collaboratively and integrate feedback into design pieces•Email marketing campaigns, including developing specialized audience lists for various clients, scheduling campaigns, and follow up reports on engagement stats•Adhere to social media calendar to generate new posts•Gather data on post performance and make quarterly reports with recommendations•Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills•Perform other related duties as required
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:•Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience•Four plus years relevant experience with a portfolio and experience as on camera talent, in personal, creative, or corporate work•Highly proficient in iOS hardware and software including Microsoft Office and Google Drive, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Canva, Hootsuite, Asana, and Adobe Premiere Pro.•Must be a dependable team player with business maturity and enthusiasm with the ability to deliver high level of customer service•Ability to travel domestically up to 5% of the time
