We are actively looking for a mid-level BIM Manager or BIM Leader to help lead the production of regional BIM modeling projects and assist with the overall growth of the global BIM team in our Seattle, WA or Federal Way, WA office(s). The successful new hire will be responsible for growing the local team, training, modeling, and guiding staff through project development. You will implement global initiatives at the regional level and will also participate in the modelling of structural, mechanical or electrical projects.

Duties and responsibilities:
Acts as regional lead and works with other BIM Managers/Leads globally
Helps implement overall global BIM initiatives
Provides guidance to staff with regards to training, company standards, and modelling
Set up and update Revit models and drawings (plans, details, exhibits, and as-builts) for structural, mechanical or electrical projects (bridges, waterfront structures, buildings, etc.) using various materials and design standards
Understands overall BIM and project scope. Seeks technical integration opportunities
Manages the production of complete sets of engineering drawings ensuring a high-quality product
Troubleshoots BIM-related issues
Collaborates with consultants and integrates design with other Moffatt & Nichol offices
Maintains advanced knowledge of AutoCAD (preferred)/Revit processes
Actively participates in problem-solving and making project decisions at the BIM department level
Works independently on long-term projects and assignments. Follows through with set deadlines
Believes in and champions the firms’ core values, adheres to our Quality Management System, and inspires others to do the same
Identifies and applies creative thinking and innovation that adds value at the department level
Participates in the development of corporate training programs in collaboration with supervisor
Administrates tools and technology for staff in the region or local office
Research and discover innovation opportunities in collaboration with supervisor
Qualifications:
2-year Technical or Associates degree from an accredited institution in a related discipline strongly preferred
10 or more years of experience in the architectural, engineering or construction (AEC) industry required. Structural or bridge, mechanical or electrical drafting experience strongly preferred
Strong proficiency of various Revit standards
Understanding of general design concepts and construction methods for concrete and steel structures strongly preferred
Bridge production experience strongly preferred
Working experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navisworks, or MicroStation preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Strong analytical thinking, problem solving skills, and attention to detail
Possess good organization and documentation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Proven ability to multi‐task and meet deadlines
Some projects may require security clearance through background checks
Due to client requirements, selected candidate must show proof of U.S. citizenship. A federal background check will be conducted
All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171

Base salary range:
$45/hr to $57/hr based on years of experience, level of education obtained, professional registration, and meeting required qualifications in job description.
Base hourly range only applicable for candidates who will be hired and working in the state of Washington market.
Physical requirements:
Sedentary for prolonged period of time, interact with clients, and travel occasionally.
