We are looking for a Graphic Designer for our culinary client. This is an ongoing temp assignment and a 40-hour-a-week hybrid role in the San Diego Metropolitan Area. You will provide graphic design services in the areas of collateral, catalogs, direct mail, and sales tools development.
Not sure what skills you will need for this opportunity Simply read the full description below to get a complete picture of candidate requirements.ResponsibilitiesCreates and develops marketing collateral, catalogs, flyers, PowerPoint presentations, product mockups, and various sales tools.Prepares images and graphics for use in e-commerce and social media applications; which may include retouching.Works on multiple design projects concurrently and independently to meet deadlines.Makes recommendations on graphic design direction per project based on project brief.Provides innovative design and branding solutions within the creative process.Works closely with the design team, brand manager, and other team members to reach the best solution for each project.Assists members of other corporate teams and departments with creative design solutions.Stays current on graphic design software and tools.Stays abreast of industry trends as it relates to graphic design. Share findings with marketing team.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field, or equivalent work experience.2 years of graphic design experience to include multi-page layout, typography, and color theory in a corporate marketing or advertising agency environment.Demonstrated proficiency in the following:
Development of marketing collateral, catalogs, flyers, product mockups, and sales tools.Proficiency in the following: Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat. Optional: Previous experience in a MAC environment.Demonstrated ability to effectively work in a collaborative team environment, and in meeting schedules and deadlines.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $30.00 to $38.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
