We are seeking an innovative and driven Head of Live Shoppable Media to lead our live shopping initiatives on TikTok and other social commerce platforms. This key role is responsible for executing and optimizing shoppable live streams, increasing Gross Merchandise Value (GMV), and enhancing audience engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in managing live shopping campaigns, with a deep understanding of TikTok’s unique trends, algorithm, and cultural nuances. This position will spearhead product strategies, manage all aspects of live shopping events, and build authentic, engaging shopping experiences that drive customer acquisition and growth.
Responsibilities:Shoppable Media Strategy: Lead and develop the overall live shopping strategy on TikTok or other social commerce platforms to drive revenue and increase customer engagement.Live Stream Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of live shopping events, with a focus on achieving GMV targets and maximizing sales performance.Product Strategy: Collaborate with DTC brands and internal teams to define product offerings, build effective shoppable media formats, and align strategies with overall marketing goals.Audience Engagement: Leverage TikTok trends, culture, and algorithm to engage audiences in meaningful ways and drive customer interaction during live shopping events.Data-Driven Optimization: Use data and performance metrics to continuously optimize content, event formats, and product strategies to increase conversion rates and profitability. Report to Leadership with performance metrics.Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with marketing, creative, and account teams to ensure seamless integration of live shoppable media into broader client campaigns.Marketing: Spearhead the internal marketing initiatives to write case studies and showcase adQ’s capabilities when it comes to Live ShoppingPartnership Management: Collaborate with TikTok and other social commerce platform teams to leverage platform insights to enhance live shoppable media performance.RequirementsProven experience in managing shoppable live streams or e-commerce campaigns, ideally on TikTok, Whatnot, Meta, or like platformIn-depth knowledge of TikTok's algorithm, trends, and culture, with the ability to translate these into shoppable content strategies.Strong data analysis skills, with experience optimizing campaigns based on performance metrics.Ability to build and maintain strong client and platform partnerships.Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present strategies to stakeholders.Passion for innovation and staying ahead of social commerce trends.Experience working with an established brand, influencer agency, or platform partner like TikTok is a plus.Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a quantitative field; advanced degree a plus.Comfort in fast-paced, high-growth environments with a start-up mindset.Excellent critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.Competitive/Performance driven mindsetBenefitsOur people come first.
