Your New Role…
The Manager, Brand Strategy & Marketing role is pivotal in elevating WBTV IP’s brand positioning through strategic marketing, asset acquisition, product placement and brand strategy. It oversees the acquisition and management of marketing and promotional assets for both global and domestic sales and marketing distribution. The position supports the business through strategic marketing
efforts, including network and streaming negotiations, ensuring the highest quality in all marketing assets, such as gallery, asset acquisition, unit episodic hiring, photo editing, retouching, and talent approvals. This role directly supports the team with a comprehensive understanding of the IP brand and tailored marketing strategies for each title, while also building and maintaining strategic photo and brand strategy across the IP life cycle.
Your Role Accountabilities…
Responsible for managing and tracking high-volume marketing assets and team IP project assignments, overseeing updates to the company-wide library of marketing assets, and publishing to the B2B site by supervising the Brand Marketing Assets Supervisor to ensure compliance with talent and legal approvals, and handles all international and domestic communication regarding marketing asset receipt and timelines. Collaborates closely with key partner teams and departments, including Art & Advertising, Marketing Operations, WB International Television, Domestic Home Video, International, Consumer Products, Marketing, Music, Syndication, Production Offices, Legal, and Labor Relations, ensuring cohesive brand strategy and alignment across all initiatives and projects. Additionally, the role leads and delegates all brand coverage and asset acquisition and procurement with the Brand Marketing Assets Supervisor, ensuring brand and IP consistency and alignment.
Supports the SVP of Brand Strategy and Marketing through clearly communicating brand goals, positioning, and strategy to all constituents serving as the central hub for internal and external partners to ensure all communications adhere to brand voice and strategy as well as identifies opportunities to increase exposure. Acts as point of contact with external agencies and partners, leading communication and providing strategic/creative feedback while managing brand approvals. Works collaboratively with various internal departments (publicity/production/legal/creative/publicity/social media/global franchise/consumer products) in overseeing strategy implementation and executing all aspects of the campaign, including partnering with production and creative teams on development and delivery of campaign assets.
Oversees the Brand Management Assets Supervisor and contingency workers, ensuring seamless on-boarding through training, best practices, brand guidelines and adherence to WB Standards. Communicates and identifies process or operational changes within the Supervisor's role to the SVP, Brand Strategy & Marketing, for best practice approval, ensuring strategic alignment and operational excellence.
Supports the SVP in identifying pitch strategies and opportunities for revenue generating IP brand placements and partnerships, acting as the Brand Strategy and Marketing team’s representative on set or location, ensuring seamless communication between the network, brand, and client to production, while fostering relationships with other Warner Bros. divisions to create incremental opportunities for partners, enhancing exposure for WBTV IP, and drive additional business for divisions such as WBD Global Franchise and WBD Consumer Production, leveraging the IP across all synergy channels.
Manages brand management for both current and legacy titles, ensuring meticulous compliance and clearance for all international and domestic requests. Oversees the strategic deployment of these titles across various marketing materials, events, and activations, ensuring brand authenticity and alignment for assigned projects. Acts as the primary brand authority, facilitating seamless communication and collaboration between the network, brand, and clients.

Qualifications & Experience…
Work Experience
Previous TV photo marketing and/or publicity experience required.
5+ years of experience working with entertainment studios, brands, networks and/or production executive with brands in show and out of show required
Strong experience working knowledge of production required
Account/Client Services experience required
Significant project management experience required
Experience working with Business Affairs, Legal and Clearances within entertainment field preferred
Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor’s degree in related field strongly preferred.
Knowledge/Skills
Strong knowledge of marketing
Understanding of production, workflow and process (including but not limited to, storylines, casting, key production info, scheduling, etc.)
Extensive direct knowledge of production planning and marketing strategic approach required for content releases
A background that demonstrates success in budgetary management, resource time management and workflow
Excellent communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
Ability to handle a high volume of complex projects and tasks for multiple people and departments while maintaining composure and managing competing priorities.
Familiarity with digital marketing, including but not limited to leveraging search, social, mobile marketing, connected device marketing and streaming platforms to drive engagement
Proven creative thinker and problem solver with the ability to help crystallize creative concepts as well as build around them for bigger impact
Basic retouching skills: ability to do perform minor cleanup, color, and contrast adjustment a plus.
Experience with Photoshop is required; familiarity with Adobe Lightroom, Bridge, Illustrator, and InDesign is preferred. Photo Mechanic a plus.
Familiarity with union photographers and rules strongly preferred.
Experience with Digital Fusion a plus.
Familiarity working on a MAC platform is required.

Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $77,000.00 - $143,000.00 salary per year.
