The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.The Senior Manager of Product & Pipeline Communications is accountable for managing and implementing communication plans for the company’s oncology portfolio in hematology and solid tumors. This position is responsible for the creation and execution of communication plans, press releases, materials, digital plans, and message development. This role will work cross-functionally to support brand goals and objectives, working closely with the brand teams and leadership. In addition, this role is key to protecting our company and brands’ reputations, focusing on crisis and issues management as needed.Primary Responsibilities:Develop public relations and communications strategies for HemOnc and solid tumor portfolios.Serve as lead communicator on at least one cross-functional product team.Create and execute communications plans (digital, social, traditional media).Manage communications for data and regulatory milestones including scenario planning, media relations, and strategy.Lead communications strategy for the company at major medical meetings.Lead crisis and issues management and media response strategy and messaging.Partner with Enterprise Communications on thought leadership opportunities.Track measurements to ensure effectiveness of all communications and appropriate ROI.Oversee agency partners and manage budgets, burn rates, and spend.Education and Required SkillsBachelor's degree in public relations, integrated marketing, communications, Journalism or equivalent.5 – 8 years of relevant experience and proven track record of success in strategic communications.Strong written and verbal communication skills required as well as strong interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple resources including agencies important.Track record of working with individuals at all levels of an organization.Agency experience preferred; In-house experience required.Travel and Location15 - 20% travel.Servier’s CommitmentWe’re an organization committed to modeling diversity, equity, and inclusion for the entire industry, and to maintaining an inclusive environment with equitable treatment for all.
