Heres the Gist:
Wolfspeed is seeking an Experiential Marketing professional to lead its global trade show and events program. Were looking for a team player, with a high capacity for organization and passion for details. A successful candidate will be a strong communicator who loves a project plan.
The Day-to-Day
: Event Management:
Manages event project planning, tracking and execution from kick-off call to post-show debrief. Support and organize tradeshow participation including sponsorships, booth space, demo logistics, team dinners, miscellaneous event logistics, and post-show evaluations and reports. Assist with global events budget tracking, including creating POs, vendor onboarding, and AP troubleshooting. Direct logistics for other miscellaneous meetings, dinners and symposiums. Manage giveaways selection, ordering and inventory with vendor. Support the hotel block booking process and/or coordinate rooming list with in-house travel team. Collaborate with sales enablement to provide show briefs and promotion to sales.
Asset Management Oversight:
Coordinate booth design, construction, and services with all stakeholders and vendors involved in partnership with BU or regional marketing teams. Maintain vendor relationships for the storage, production, labor and shipping of equipment Establish and manage inventory protocols
Event Technology & Services
Oversee sourcing, implementation, and maintenance of software used to manage trade shows, meetings, and events, including but not limited to registration, delivery platforms, mobile apps, lead capture, trade show management systems, event management systems, and networking tools Manage negotiation and contracting of AV, show services, and shipping Manage lead capture procedures and provide actionable data for constituents
This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements): Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, PR or related field 5+ years of experience in event, tradeshow and/or meeting planning Strong project and time management skills Team player, willing to work collaboratively Soft skills required to communicate tasks, deliverables and feedback to colleagues and vendors Analytic thinking skills to understand key metrics, derive insights, evaluate performance, and recommend improvements Ability to anticipate and adapt to complications and come up with contingency plans Travel to events on-site as needed This role may require additional duties and/or assignments as designated by management.
