Job Description
Fanatics is seeking a talented Motion Designer to join our growing digital marketing design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating dynamic, engaging motion graphics and animation, with a passion for storytelling through visual movement. This role requires a creative mind who can innovate, relentlessly enhance the fan experience, elevate our design efforts and help us deliver immersive experiences to our fans through motion and animation.
What You'll Be Doing: Collaborate with social media platforms and partners to develop innovative, motion-driven content that enhances engagement for our fans. Design and produce captivating motion graphics, animations, and videos using tools such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, Cinema 4D, or similar software. Collaborate with our creative, marketing, and product teams to develop high-quality motion assets for social media and digital platforms. Create compelling animations that enhance our brand and engage our audience, from concept to execution. Develop a streamlined motion design process with best practices and quality standards to ensure consistent and efficient delivery. Stay informed on the latest trends in motion design and animation to continuously improve the creative output. Experiment with new techniques and tools, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in motion design to enhance fan experiences. Communicate and present motion design concepts to internal stakeholders, gathering feedback to refine and perfect your work. What You Bring to the Role:
Degree in Motion Design, Animation, or a related field. Strong knowledge of e-commerce design principles, creating visually compelling assets that drive engagement and optimize conversions through CRM and paid social media channels. Proven experience in motion graphics design with a strong portfolio showcasing animated work. Proficiency in industry-standard motion design software such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Cinema 4D. Solid understanding of animation principles, timing, and visual storytelling. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and integrate feedback to improve designs. Up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends, tools, and techniques in motion design and animation. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Experience with video editing and VFX is a plus. Experience in mentoring or training team members on motion design best practices. A creative problem-solver with the ability to innovate in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work in-office a minimum of three days a week.
The expected salary range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000. This is based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is also eligible for the Fanatics Commerce annual bonus program and an equity award. This salary range is listed in USD and will be determined in part by a successful candidate's geographic location.
