ETL Visual Studio SQL Developer

NO H1B ( USC GC Prefer) Title: ETL Visual Studio SQL Developer Position Type: Contract Location: Remote, United States Rate: $70/HR C2C Company: Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc./Department of Veterans Affairs NOTE: This role does require experience, specifically implementing and development within Azure Data Factory (ADF.) Required Education Level: Bachelors Required Degree: Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent Required Years Experience: 10 years Substitution Criteria: 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education The ETL Developer will utilize Azure ADF, Visual Studio to develop SSRS and SSIS packages to generate reports and perform data extractions and transformations in a highly visible, enterprise-wide reporting and dashboard data repository. Use knowledge of MS SQL Server, including agents, jobs, stored procedure development, data modeling techniques and analytical expertise to provide data-driven solutions for stakeholders. This position is open to remote delivery within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia. Qualifications: 10 years of experience in a professional work environment using Agile development processes Experience with Azure data factory in extracting data by creating pipelines, activity, data sets, and linked services Experience with the development of reports, analytics, SSIS packages and visualizations development using SSRS in Visual Studio. Experience and strong knowledge of TSQL/SQL and ETL Package design/development using SQL Server Integration Services overlap Experience with designing Microsoft Power BI dashboards and managing the Power BI gateways with a focus on usability, performance, flexibility, testability, and standardization Experience with providing and presenting reports to management and directors Experience with database design, data engineering, data modeling, database normalization, database management technologies, and optimization and performance tuning using SQL column store indexes and table partitions Experience in gathering business requirements, work with diverse customers, and communicate issues and successes via various platforms. Ability to manage , monitor, troubleshoot ADF pipelines Bachelors' degree in Computer Science, Math, or technical equivalent with 10 years of professional experience or a total of 18 in lieu of education. Additional Qualifications: Azure Certification Experience with C# Experience with using Team Foundation Server and a GitHub as code repository Experience with cloud environments
