Glenn is hiring a full-time, salaried Communications Director. The Communications Director is part of the ministry team and understands Glenn’s strategic goals, mission and vision; develops and drives strategic communications, both internal and external, for all ministry areas; analyzes the church’s creative processes and technologies to determine areas needing development; produces and manages all official communications across multiple channels in support of the ministry of the congregation. The salary range is $47,000-$55,000, plus benefits.

This full-time position requires occasional work on weekends and evenings, to assist with the livestreaming of worship, photography, placement of signage, meetings and other activities.
A successful candidate will demonstrate skills in writing, photography, graphic design, marketing, and social media; strong interpersonal skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with design programs such as Adobe Creative and Canva, and a familiarity with Squarespace and Mailchimp. The candidate must have respect for and ability to work effectively with staff and volunteers who are diverse in age, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation and background; and have knowledge of the life and ministry of a local church. Glenn requires applicants to satisfactorily complete a background and security checks (criminal, financial, and sexual misconduct). The position may also require prolonged sitting, frequent bending, stretching and arm movement, lifting items up to 10 pounds and carrying them a distance of 25 feet, manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
