We are seeking a creative and customer-obsessed Principal UX Designer to define and shape the future of the technology that drives the speed, scale and safety of Amazon Pharmacy. You will be a key voice in designing the future of Amazon Pharmacy and bringing it to life. In your day to day, you will partner with product, operations, and engineering stakeholders to tackle the challenging design problems that come with an ever-evolving, complex ecosystem. In this role, you will have access to Amazon Pharmacy leadership who are invested in providing great experiences for our customers.Key job responsibilities:Conceptualize and design customer-centric experiences at the intersection of healthcare, design, business, and technologyDrive customer empathy through research initiatives and close collaboration with our clinical customersUse diverse inputs — customer feedback, metrics, research findings — to identify and define new concepts and solutions to customer problemsDevelop and maintain detailed design specs for the end-to-end experienceCommunicate and specify design concepts, solutions, and needs to senior executivesContribute to UX design best practices while continually advocating for design thinking, and craft throughout the Pharmacy organizationPartner closely with other product and design teams across AmazonMentor junior talentAbout the team: At Amazon Pharmacy, we are using design, service, and technology to change the way people think about medicine. The base pay for this position ranges from $151,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $249,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
