You will work with internal team members across Business Affairs, Marketing, and Legal.
You will:
Communicate with Japanese and international partners/licensors regarding production schedule.
Negotiate deal terms with Japanese and international partners/licensors to secure contents.
Explore opportunities to grow and foster distribution partnership.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure contractual obligations are performed.
Analyze industry trends and market dynamics.
Implement solutions and reporting summaries.
Assess content value.
Manage digital assets and marketing materials.
We are considering applicants for the location(s) of Culver City, CA and Dallas, TX.
About You
5+ years of Agency or Entertainment based account management experience.
Experience working with Accounting, Royalty Statements, Production, Marketing.
Passion for Anime, Japanese culture, and the Entertainment industry.
Experience owning end-to-end projects, seeing them through to implementation and iteration.
International experience, operating in an asynchronistic work environment.
Service oriented.
About the TeamThe Manager of Content Acquisitions will secure a pipeline of content to satisfy Crunchyroll’s seasonal simulcast slate and catalog lineups, while strengthening its relationships with our Japanese partners’ teams and augmenting our reputation as the most trusted international distributor for Japanese anime abroad. Knowledge of the Japanese anime industry, strong communication skills, ability to challenge the status quo within the industry, and attention to detail are necessary to succeed in this position.
