Job purpose for Social Media Manager: The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy that enhances brand visibility and drives customer engagement. This role involves creating and curating content, designing graphics, writing copy, monitoring social trends, and analyzing performance metrics to ensure the success of social media initiatives. They will work closely with the marketing team to align social media efforts with broader business objectives. Duties and responsibilities for Social Media Manager: In collaboration with the Director of Marketing, develops and implements a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the company's broader marketing objectives. This includes identifying the most effective platforms and content types for reaching various target demographics, ensuring that all social media efforts contribute to overall brand growth and customer engagement. Creates visually compelling and on-brand content by designing graphics and writing engaging copy for social media posts. Leverages Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to produce high-quality visuals that resonate with audiences and drive interaction. Regularly tracks, analyzes, and reports on social media performance metrics to gauge the effectiveness of campaigns. Uses data-driven insights to refine strategies, optimize content, and improve engagement. Delivers detailed monthly and quarterly reports to the marketing team and other stakeholders. Monitors social media channels daily to engage in social listening, identify customer feedback, and track industry conversations. Responds to comments and messages promptly and professionally, fostering positive relationships and enhancing customer satisfaction. Collaborates closely with the marketing team to ensure that social media initiatives are fully integrated with other marketing campaigns and efforts. This includes aligning messaging, timing, and objectives to create a cohesive brand experience across all channels. Ensures that all social media activities adhere to industry regulations and company policies. Maintains a keen awareness of compliance requirements to protect the company's reputation and avoid any potential legal or regulatory issues. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications for Social Media Manager: Experience Required 3-5 years experience in a social media management role within an agency or corporate environment. Proven experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

Preferred Experience with video production, animation, or photography 1-3 years of experience with a full-service financial institution.

Education Required Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or a related field or equivalent in work experience.

Working conditions Additionally, an individual must be flexible in work schedule and have the ability to travel between office locations if warranted. A valid driver's license is required. Driving record must be in accordance with WSB's Vehicle Safety Policy.
