OPEN POSITION: SENIOR SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGISTMomentum Communications Group is seeking public relations professionals to join our growing team of award-winning nonprofit PR specialists as a Senior Social Media Strategist focused on building our clients’ reputation and influence through social media. If you are passionate about doing good in the world, this is an opportunity to work with the 2020 Nonprofit PR Team of the Year (Nonprofit PR Awards) at one of The Top PR Firms for Nonprofits and Causes (Observer PR Power List).Responsibilities:Lead social media strategy across accounts, including development and oversight of social media guidelines, content calendars, key visuals, video and design, copywriting and CTAsConcept and present innovative social media campaign ideas to clients on a regular basisSet quantitative social media goals and monitor progress on all social accountsOversee community management on all accounts, including weekly sweeps of key accountsFollow relevant news and social media accounts to advise team and clients on opportunitiesLead strategy on social advertising including spend; train and advise team to manage adsSupervise social media teams, including delegating tasks, mentoring and ensuring high level creativity, timeliness and quality control; onboard new social media team members and advise agency senior leadership on staff professional development needsOversee content calendar editorial process; edit copy and visuals on content calendars and approve for sending to clientCreate high priority social media content (copy, scripts, visuals) for key campaigns and ad hoc posts; supervise TikTok and other video scriptsServe as the agency’s senior leadership voice to clients on social media matters; attend client meetings on weekly, monthly or quarterly basis and advise other employees on client interactionsField client inquiries and requests on key accountsMeet internally and with clients to advise on long-term social goals and strategies, including calendar overview meetingsLead monthly social media planning meetingsRun social media analytics, analyze results and oversee results reports such as monthly activity reports, board reports and case studiesWrite and present proposals for clients and new business prospectsOversee the agency’s own social media strategy, content and community managementPosition Qualifications:Candidates should have at least 4 years’ experience in social media with a communications agency or nonprofit.
