Job Description:

To assist with the design and maintenance of corporate communications artwork and related collateral in support of Navy Federal products and services with consistent branding strategy that aligns with Navy Federal's strategic goals. To provide fundamental knowledge of design programs, principles, development standards, techniques and methodologies and ability to apply them, ensuring a great user experience and alignment with the organization's overall objectives. Apply knowledge to solve a full range of moderately complex design problems. Perform moderately complex/varied tasks with moderate scope and moderate impact.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute designs layouts and visual branding in support of products and services.

Participate in strategic/conceptual development meetings with clients to determine project requirements, objectives and creative direction

Participates in working closely with clients as a Trusted Advisor to develop materials that meet/exceed their needs and expectations and comply with branding, trademark and other company and industry standards

Serve as creative resource on design and branding standards, vendor selection and production methods and timelines

Monitor assigned projects to ensure that goals and objectives are completed according to schedule; collaborate with project teams to ensure all business needs are met

Maintain consistency of designs, ensure version controls and latest designs are published, maintains content manager and other storage systems

Incorporate and leverage best industry practices while maintaining alignment with Navy Federal goals and capabilities

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Ability to compile, organize and present information clearly and concisely

Experience in using design programs, creating and print and online collateral

Working knowledge of design principles, design development standards, techniques and methodologies and ability to apply them

Working knowledge of design fundamentals

Effective verbal and written communication

Experience in working and participating in cross-functional, multi-dimensional teams and projects

Experience in managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve goals

Desired - Experience with mainstream InDesign desktop publishing programs, Adobe Experience Manager and other Adobe Creative Suite programs

Effective skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions

Effective skill exercising professionalism, composure under pressure, and flexibility

Effective research, analytical and problem-solving skills

Effective organizing, planning and time management skills

Associates' degree in graphic design or a related field or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience Role Details Description
