Talent attraction is seeking a highly skilled and collaborative professional to lead the team who will inform, inspire, and empower job seekers at scale, driving candidate progression in support of the firm hiring goals and regional (Market Management) priorities. The talent attraction marketing team is responsible for attracting quality candidates to all U.S. headquarters and branch roles, essential to enabling the firm's overall growth strategy. This role leads of a team of professionals who form partnerships with business areas driving short and long-term objectives. A successful candidate will have strong branding, strategic, and analytics experience to set strategy, build business cases, derive insights, make recommendations to stakeholders and influence executive-level leaders.

What you'll do...

As the Director of Talent Acquisition Marketing, your team will work in partnership with internal stakeholders and external agency resources to identify, create, deliver, and measure the impact of their integrated marketing and branding strategy. You'll lead and optimize the Edward Jones employment brand experience. You'll work closely with cross functional stakeholders and the field sales organization to enable and support their success. You'll leverage best practices and your subject matter expertise while being responsive and flexible to their evolving needs.

The Director will:

Lead the vision, direction, and strategy of all Talent Acquisition Marketing in support of the firms' objectives, inputting to divisional strategy

Lead the development and activation of the external, candidate facing employee value proposition.

Develop and lead the Talent Attraction Marketing team.

Collaborate and enable talent acquisition stakeholders, constantly understanding their marketing needs, overcoming obstacles, and optimizing the impact of talent acquisition marketing.

Be excellent stewards of firm resources, with accountability to establish key performance indicators, current and future business outcome, maximize spend, enhance our employment brand reputation.

Manage significant firm expenditure and several agency and vendor relationships.

Identify trends or opportunities to proactively capitalize on firm competitive advantages or macro talent dynamics

Provide oversight of major talent marketing initiatives, and provide functional expertise

Lead cross functional initiatives in collaboration with other divisions, such as Branch Development, Market Management, Digital, Enterprise Communications, Competitive Insights, Legal, Compliance and Client Attraction & Branch Marketing

Model the Edward Jones purpose, culture, and spirit of volunteerism.

The salary range for this role is based on national data and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors for a potential new associate:

Hiring Minimum: $136571

Hiring Maximum: $232541

Skills/Requirements

Position requirements:

Bachelor's degree, and advanced degree or certification in related field is preferred. Strong leadership skills. Ability to lead multiple projects / people at same time. Ability to serve as a player-coach

15+ years of experience in related roles preferred. Significant leadership experience with increasing levels of responsibility.

Advanced to expert capabilities in areas such as strategy development, digital marketing, systems integration, communications, branding, research, data and insights, public relations, creative services.

Ability to manage complex matters or processes, resolving problems to ensure the opportunity is fully optimize and while protecting the values and firm reputation.

Demonstrated ability to effectively lead through change and ambiguity. Interactive listening to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of seniority.

Demonstrated success operating in a highly matrixed environment, building a strong internal network to fully capitalize on the firms' full capabilities that strengthen our competitive advantage.

Ability to analyze information and use experience, creativity, and good judgment to make complex, non-routine decisions and gain alignment with limited guidance.

Talent acquisition experience is preferred. Financial Services Industry experience is preferred.
