This position will be filled at either our HQ in Durham, NC - OR-
Frisco, TX. Expected program dates are January 21 - April 25, 2025.
Introduction:
The Graphic Design & UX/UI Intern will work with the UX team to help design interfaces for point-of-sale software. Contribute visual designs to UI projects. Help to create and maintain a design system for the UX team. Participate in group critiques of the team's work and help ideate new solutions. Design promotional material for the team such as t-shirts and posters. Support user research in gathering and analyzing data, as well as helping out in person during field research. Required Skills:Currently pursuing Undergraduate or Postgraduate studiesExcellent analytical skillsAbility to work in a fast paced, team-based environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProgramming and analytical skills, problem determination and debugging, attention to detail, teamwork and excellent communication skills.Effective verbal and written communication; able to read, write, and speak English proficientlyPreferred Skills:
Participation in agile SDLC; usage of agile project management toolsAbility to use code versioning tools like Git, SVN, etc.Software development experience with Java, C++, or similarModern web development experience, including application of HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and various JS frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.JS.
