BCI Brands designs, sources, and markets nationally and internationally an extensive range of women's career, casual sportswear, and dresses. Their products are sold through all primary retail distribution levels principally under various trademarks and under private label brand names, such as Ted Baker, Vince Camuto, CeCe, 1.state and Parker.The Associate Designer will work closely with the Design Director on the development of the line.Responsibilities:Support the Creative Director with the design process from initial inspiration to final productionCommunicate daily with sales and production to ensure design sheets are being completed properly and in a timely mannerCreate and execute on the vision of the Creative Director, ensuring that the product is consistent with market trends, while defining the brand identity and overall business strategyDevelop Design sheets in Exenta (PLM System)Update reorder bodies with new ideas while incorporating upcoming trendsSource trims, prints and novelty fabrics with venders/In the marketChoose matching liningsSet up new silhouettes in prints and new fabrications in our in-house sewing room to get cut and sewnSupport the head designer in creating and organizing a cohesive lineCreate inspiration boardsRequirements3-4 years
