Marketing Specialist - The Critical Update

The Marketing Specialist (MS) will help research target clients, design, implement and manage marketing campaigns to promote the company's products and services through digital and physical communication platforms. The MS works closely with Management to create targeted campaigns for specific products and services leveraging vendor relationships and marketing funds to improve efficiency.
Duties/Responsibilities:• Collaborates with vendors' marketing resources to fully understand product and prospecting communication needs.• Help maximize the vendor resources available to promote brand awareness, to determine the most effective marketing techniques, increase the number of leads, appointments, and as a result, sales.• Research available vendor marketing development funds and how we can use them.• Reviews vendor marketing materials and resources to host webinars, lunch and learns, and use in marketing campaigns.• Presents ideas and recommendations for new marketing campaigns and targeted services. Drafts and proposes marketing campaigns, which may include social and online media, print media, direct mail, and phone.• Performs market research to understand the target clients, competitors in the area and the best way to run marketing campaigns.• Uses available tools to build prospect lists by targeted industry.• Builds, cleans, and improves prospect lists by verifying contact information.• Able to qualify prospects and confirm the right offer services/ white papers• Uses LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoho One, Buffer, and other tools to run campaigns and reach prospects.• Enters the lists into CRM tool, creates workflows and marketing funnels in CRM• Manages the funnels to find areas of improvement and increase results• Once a prospect is interested, the marketing specialist may perform an initial discovery call/meeting to prepare for an assessment. Assists with the intake and qualification of cybersecurity prospects to ensure a great service experience.• Answers calls during business hours.
Required Skills/Abilities:• Excellent verbal and written communication skills that may include public speaking in webinars and presentations.• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Fast learner, resourceful and reliable team player.• Proficient with Microsoft 365, or Google Office Suite or related software.• Working knowledge of Zoho CRM [able to use the Zoho suite to create workflows and manage campaigns]
