We are currently searching for a Marketing Communications Director to join our Global Marketing Team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team focused on the management and execution of marketing communications programs supporting multiple industry market segments. You will also have the ability and willingness to be an individual contributor in some areas. The selected candidate will have strong knowledge in promotion planning, channel management, digital, demand generation, advertising, events, public relations, and creative development.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing communications plans to support product launches, lead generation, and brand initiatives.Direct, plan and execute functions for on-time delivery, quality and maximum output.Lead the coordination and management of the events and tradeshows team.Manage demand generation activities to feed the sales pipeline across multiple platforms.Manage and direct the creative and media production team.Manage and direct the global events team.Oversee the company's online presence, including website, social media and email marketing.Implement SEO and SEM strategies to enhance online visibility and drive traffic.Analyze marketing campaign performance metrics to analyze return on investment as well as provide insights for continuous improvement.Manage a team of marketing professionals, providing coaching and mentoring as appropriate.Ensure all content aligns with the core messaging and branding.Maintain collaborative relationships with Strategic Marketing, Marketing Operations, senior stakeholders and external partners to align tactical activities to key strategic objectives.Maintain communication with organizational leaders, reporting on deadlines, progress and help needed.Build and manage budgets.Establish and manage agency and freelance support.10-15 years of marketing experience.Demonstrated experience working within a global marketing organization.Extensive experience in events management and execution.Proven results managing global multi-channel marketing campaigns and optimizing activities.Demonstrated knowledge of creative production processes, digital marketing tactics and public relations.Experience managing a team of individual contributors, including mentoring/coaching and workload management.Experience working with and managing agencies, freelancers.Experience in creative production schedulesExperience in B2B marketing, manufacturing industry experience a plus.Strong project management and organization skills.Knowledge of Asana (or similar project management tool), Microsoft Dynamics, Adobe Analytics, Microsoft Office, and other typical applications for this role.
